We've had a fantastic stay. The bothy is so cosy, beautiful views, everything we needed. A shame to leave! Enjoyed exploring the area and coming back to relax with the log burner on. Would definitely recommend and will be back! Thank you.

The Stable Bothy has met and exceeded all our expectations. Such a warm, stylish and beautifully laid out cottage with everything we could possibly want. The views are spectacular and we were very lucky to have sunshine. We would recommend the walk at Coul Links between the Fleet and Embo. Good for otter spotting!

We have absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, beautiful bothy! Such fantastic views, so charmingly decorated and so well resourced - thank you! We enjoyed some great drives, including over to the west coast and some stunning walks locally. Our final two days treated us to a thick carpeting of sparkling snow - wonderful!

We had a wonderful week in this cosy bothy! The weather was changeable but on a rainy day you can have a nice day here in the well-equipped Stable Bothy and light the fire! We drove along the NC500 and visited Dunrobin, Durness....and a lot of lovely beaches. There is a lot you can do! Many thanks for the warm welcome.

Lovely, cosy place in a beautiful setting. Perfectly placed for our week cycling and hiking in the Highlands. Venue was well-equipped and met all our needs. Weather was remarkably clement so we were able to cover a lot of ground. Warm welcome from Iona set the week off to a great start. What a view to wake up to! Highly recommended.

Fabulous property with a wonderful host. Anything you could want is here! We are in a really special place with so much to explore and only a week to enjoy it. Your recommendations and endless resources made planning our trips so easy. Tempting to always go long to see things on the west and up the top, but Loch Fleet is special, as is Cassley Falls. By far the most high spec, well thought out place to stay. Enjoy the lambs. We hope to return.

What a beautiful and magical spot! Up on a hill in the cosiest place ever. So well designed and comfortable. All the right choices. A perfect escape to the Highlands! The weather helped - we had a week of virtually unbroken sunshine. But it was always nice to come back to the Bothy. Small but beautifully formed! Thank you for your hospitality. Too many places to recommend but do go to Lochinver for pies. Durness and the drive along the north coast is stunning. We cannot wait to return.

What a perfect blend of tranquillity and comfort! We found some great walks: Big Burn in Golspie, along the short of Loch Fleet one day, and into the woods of Migdale another (the views were outstanding), knowing that we were returning to a warm retreat afterwards. Thank you for the treats and excellent hospitality.

Thank you for an absolutely perfect wee house which was the best place to relax. We enjoyed getting out for walks and exploring the area. We really enjoyed all the treats from the welcome basket! We hope to be back to enjoy this wee spot of luxury!

The Stable Bothy was a perfect base to explore this part of the country. It was a real pleasure to stay here. The cottage has a traditional feel and is equipped with all the facilities of today at the same time. P.S. The shortbread was delicious!
